Behold all Steam fans, the Steam Machine isn’t far away from release, with the release date being scheduled for pre-order customers in mid-October this year. General release of the machine is due for the second week of November.

Launching in the US with a price-point of $449, the Steam Machine also has the Steam Controller and Steam Link to accompany it on release day, both of which costing $49 each. The UK price hasn’t been released as of yet, but we predict the console to cost just over £300.

This machine isn’t expected to sell PS4 numbers, but is a great alternative for PC gamers who want to bring their games to the living room.
