Gaming giants Nintendo have announced that they will be returning to movie making once again. A statement in the company’s June earnings report states:

“A more active approach will be taken in areas outside the video game business, including visual content production and character merchandising.”

By visual content, they obviously mean film and TV shows, meaning there could be a reboot of the awful Super Mario Bros film? The film which is 23 years old brought a bad taste to many Nintendo fans. With no consistency in the story, awful acting and just lazy script-writing, the film was panned by critics.

Lets hope that Nintendo have learnt from their previous mistakes.
