Playing games with friends or family

Traditionally around events such as Christmas and birthdays, people would get out the board games to play with family and friends but more and more people are turning to games consoles to provide entertainment for them. PlayStation have recently launched a platform called PlayStation Link. This allows players to join up to the game using their smart device, eliminating the need for multiple controllers. This also means that each player can be shown something unique on their device without other players seeing it.

One such example of this type of game is one called Fanatics which consists or a large number of mini games. These games can either be played individually or they can be played as part of a tournament. All players use their own devices to participate in the games.

This can be hours of fun for people that are looking for something a little different to the usual Monopoly or Cludeo.

The games can either be downloaded from the PlayStation store or sometimes bought in shops. The prices range from around £5 to £30 per game, which can be played over and over again. Over time you can expect more and more of these types of games to hit the market, do keep your eyes open for the new releases.
