EA Sports Change FIFA Ultimate Team Format

EA Sports have introduced a significant change to popular FIFA 15 mini-game – FIFA Ultimate Team, with the ‘open bid’ auctions for items being dropped in favour of card listings within a price range.

Player cards, consumables and club items will now have a price range set in the transfer market.

“We know that this is a significant change to FUT, and so we want your feedback,” read a statement to the community. We are confident that, in the long run, the FUT community as a whole will come to appreciate the balanced benefits that this new feature will bring to all FUT players, but it’s important you let us know what you think.” (EA Sports)

It’s obvious that this change has been made to stop illegal coin transfers, but the news hasn’t gone down well with die-hard gamers with #RIPFUT trending on Twitter last night.
