Becoming the 10th 3DS to sell over one million copies in the US, Super Smash Bros for Nintendo 3DS has reached the feat within two months.

“The game sold more than 485,000 total units in October to become the 10th Nintendo 3DS title to sell at least one million units in the US. The Super Smash Bros for Nintendo 3DS game is the best-selling hand-held title so far in 2014, but will face a stiff challenge to hold onto that title when the next great Pokemon adventures.”

The achievement isn’t much of a surprise, as all Mario games sell very well. The Wii U version of the game has already broken pre-order records, so expect sales to be similar.
