Obviously playing modern consoles with HD graphics and powerful processors can be fun, but it’s important to never forget where gaming all began. Games like Sonic the Hedgehog and Mario set the bar, and those early games can still be extremely fun to play today, and it’s called retro gaming.
If you still have your old Sega Mega drive in the attic, then give it a wipe and plug it in, you may then start reliving your childhood, and perhaps starting to complete the games that you never could before.
It was the retro games that really set the tone, and if you’re reluctant to spend more on a new game you can give your old games and consoles a revisit, the graphics are going to be incomparable, but you’re still guaranteed to have fun playing the classics.
